Mike Merenda and Ruth Ungar ("Mike and Ruthy") of The Mammals are playing at Babycakes at 9pm. They have a 4-piece "new-time" sound (w/ drums) and Mike is a killer banjo player and they're great songwriters.
Sam McDougle (of the Powder Kegs) will be opening for them playing traditional fiddle and blues tunes.
