We are happy to announce the much anticipated return of “Live From the Crooked Road” to the Irvington Town Hall Theater.

From the eastern slopes of the Blue Ridge to the Coalfields region, the southwestern part of Virginia has always been blessed with great riches in traditional music.

The Crooked Road, winding through the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, passes through many important historic and still thriving sites for the creation and passing on of old time, bluegrass, and mountain gospel music. Virginia State Folklorist, and Irvington native Jon Lohman will bring some of the finest bluegrass and old time musicians from this musically rich region for an encore of their sold-out 2005 performance - including National Heritage Fellowship Recipient Wayne Henderson, Anderson and Strickland, Linda and David Lay, and young bluegrass sensations No Speed Limit! Tickets can be purchased through the IrvingtonTown Hall Theater website, http://www.irvingtontheater.com.
