Alan Munde Banjo Workshop in NJ

 Hi Folks,

     Alan Munde will be conducting a 3 Hour Banjo Workshop at our home (Neptune, NJ) on Saturday, October 30th at 1:00pm.  Many of you know of Alan’s legendry work with Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mt Boys, his over 20 year stint with the Country Gazette  and more recently his recent recording “Made to Last” with the Alan Munde Gazette.  He was one of my biggest influences on the banjo and when I hear his playing I stop everything to listen!  He put to bed the myth that Melodic and Modern banjoistic approaches can’t be played with a convincing powerful drive!. He is not only considered among the very best players in Bluegrass, but he is also one of the banjo’s top teachers and a great guy to boot!
