Refreshments will be available. This is the very first of our monthly concerts featuring local bands. Only YOU can make this series a success and ensure that it will continue. So bring your friends, spread the word, help us feature the best of the Valley's bluegrass music. We are thrilled to announce that the band kicking off the series is our own Member Band, Too Blue. Bluegrass & swing quartet "Too Blue," hails from NY & CT, featuring Joan Harrison (banjo, vocal), Betsy Rome (guitar, vocal), Michael Sassano (mandolin), and Jamie Doris (bass), with guest, Kalia Yeagle (fiddle). This dynamic acoustic ensemble delivers sizzling instrumentals, tight vocal harmonies and original songs. Harrison’s melodic banjo interplays with Sassano's lively mandolin, Rome's driving flatpicking guitar and Doris's inventive bass to create exciting music that's great for listening or tapping your dancing shoes.
