Thanks to Laurie Lewis and The Right Hands for providing a happy audience with an exceptional night of energetic and beautiful bluegrass music. Those who attended were thrilled to hear this California based band in Poughkeepsie. Laurie wowed the audience when the band left the stage and walked up the aisle to sing "Who Will Watch The Home Place" with all of us. If you weren't there....well, you missed a real "happening."
As one of our members wrote, "Laurie Lewis and The Right Hands show was the best so far. Can't wait to see them again." The HVBA also hopes to have this band back in Poughkeepsie again.

Thanks go out to all of those who worked and so hard and gave so generously to make our evening a success! Our Patrons were R.J. Storm, Hudson Crossing, and Kristin & Bob O'Connor. Our Supporters were Ed Schaffer and Jerry & Faith Oland. Supporters were Jeff Anzevino, Lynn & Steve Lipton, Leslie Bates & Terry Edwards. We could not have done this without them!!!

Merchandise was handled by Mark Hudson and Kalia Yeagle.
Refreshments (thank you) were taken care of by Nancy Angell and Ginnie Schaffer
Parking helpers were Dave Angell, Jeff Anzevino, and Jack DiCroce
Dessert for the band was donated by Dan Budd of Taste Budd's Café
At the door, selling the tickets, were Marc Berman and George Nasca.
Jeff Anzevino coordinated the concert and was our wonderful emcee and photographer
Betsy Rome created stunning posters and Program Notes....really stunning

And, of course, our thanks go out to Laurie Lewis, Tom Rozum, Chad Manning (fiddle), Patrick Sauber (banjo), and Andrew Conklin (bass) for making it one of our most memorable evenings.

On behalf of all the Right Hands, we thank everyone who came out to our first-time-ever concert in Poughkeepsie. We really had a wonderful time playing in that beautiful church. The sound was gorgeous, and it just made it so easy to sing.

We hope that we get a chance to come back to Poughkeepsie sometime in the not-too-distant future.

We wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving, filled with great food, family, friends, lots of love and music.
