Blue Plate Special
Blue Plate Special serves up a blend of American roots music. Their original songs feature strong harmonies mixed with mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass. Blue Plate Special members are: Jay Friedman (vocals, guitar, fiddle), Dave Gross (vocals, mandolin, guitar), James Hempfling (vocals, guitar) and Tom Wise (vocals, bass).

No Brakes
No Brakes is a Dutchess County based bluegrass band playing traditional and contemporary music. The band features Frank kara, Eric Spaulding, Gary DiGiovanni, and Rusty Boris. Frank Kara (mandolin, vocals) grew up listening to his dad play fiddle and guitar araound the house. After playing electric and acoustic guitar through high school into his twenties, Frank started experimenting with the mandolin. After discovering the music of Tony Rice and attending his first Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival, he decided to concentrate on playing bluegrass mandolin. Forming a duet with musical partner Eric Spaulding, the two worked up an array of fiddle tune and classic bluegrass material. Eric Spaulding (guitar, vocals) also has a father who plays guitar. He and Frank started playing together in the early eighties in a variety of local bands and was converted to bluegrass at the same Winterhawk Festival. Gary DiGiovanni (banjo, vocals) joined the band as a regular member in 2004. Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, Gary's first musical instrument was the trombone. After becoming aware of folk music in the early 1960s, he fooled around with the guitar and harmonica, but got bitten by the banjo bug after hearing the playing of Alan Shelton. Rusty Boris (bass, vocals) from Kingston NY, is an in demand sideman with many Hudson Valley bands. He can play all styles of music on both acoustic and electric bass. Rusty has even been known to bow out a fiddle tune or two on the upright bass and is a fine songwriter as well. No Brakes is pleased as always to have our bottom end in Rusty's capable hands.

Hudson Crossing
Hudson Crossing loves high energy, foot stomping tunes and slow, end of a long lonely day tunes too. Three part harmony is at the core of what they do best, fast or slow. They stay true to the traditional sound played by Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, and The Stanley Brothers. But if you ask, they'll swing a tune or two as well. The core of the band has been playing together for 5 going on 6 years. The band consists of Dave Angell (mandolin), Dave Cobb (guitar), Mary DeBerry (bass), Terry Ghee (fiddle) and Ken Flowers (banjo).
