This will be the final HVBA Showcase Concert for this season. So please come on out and welcome Uncommon Ground with us. Save this date and we hope to see you there.
Uncommon Ground is a hot alternative bluegrass group from New York's Hudson Valley that is on a mission to flex the boundaries of traditional music. They're the complete package ... great vocals, fiery instrumental abilities and a continually evolving repertoire of well-crafted tunes. Uncommon Ground is schooled in tradition yet is able to stretch out in inspired improvisation. In short, Uncommon Ground is as fresh an addition to the bluegrass—make that, the music—scene as has come along in quite a while ... Their performances are not to be missed! |

| From Our Readers |
From Fred Robbins:
I'm gratified that BU published my story and is now allowing me to post it on my website. Since it came out only weeks before Doug Dillard's passing (I met him on this adventure), I'm dedicating it in his memory. |
