This is one to bring the whole family and all your friends.

to let us know how many will be with you. If the number of responses exceeds the capacity of the room, we will have to arrange to use the larger space at the church. This is an informal poll, but we really need your cooperation so that we don't run out of seats. |

| Thanks so much to the people who donated to our Educational Fund. It's a good beginning, but we hope that you ALL will visit our donation page and make a very small contribution which will have big impact on our outreach programs. We need your help to continue our educational initiatives and only YOU can help. Look at the upper right for the Donation Button. We are ambitious, but we need your help. C'mon, guys, join those who have already given and help us pay for the educational programs! You don't have to give a lot to make a big difference. |

| The Mandolin Workshop with Wayne Fugate and Michael Sassano will be held on Saturday, March 31. Wayne will also present a General Musicianship Workshop which is designed to aid all levels and all instruments. Both sound extraordinarily useful and, if you take both workshops, there is a discounted price. Sign up now to reserve your place in the workshops. |

| From Our Readers |
Hi everyone,
I am Gary Veeder, a member of HVBA, and also a member of the Dutchess County Agricultural Society for many years. I figured the two connections would work great for a HVBA Fiddle contest. I have been working on this for a couple of months and it has now finally come together.
On Sunday the 26th of August, the First Annual HVBA Fiddle Contest will be held in the Talent Tent during the Dutchess County Fair starting at 3:30PM. It is my hope that we can attract a variety of entrants and make this an event that we be proud of. For now, please contact me for more information and if you would like to help. When I get the necessary information in the proper order, I will send it to all that who have contacted me. Again, please give this opportunity serious thought, I am hopeful we all can have fun.
