| Workshops |
Next month, we are presenting three workshops for you. On March 10, Valerie Mindel & Gene Yellin will be in Poughkeepsie to give their second Harmony Workshop. I can't stress enough what a worthwhile afternoon this was for the attendees back in October. Please take a look at the details on our website and sign up before it is too late.
On March 31, Wayne Fugate will present two workshops (and it is a deal if you sign up for both of them). The morning one is for mandolin players and the afternoon workshop is open to all musicians of all levels. You can read all about it here. |

| First HVBA Showcase |
The HVBA kicked off its first-ever HVBA Showcase Series last Friday night with a toe-tapping, fun concert by the talented Member Band, Too Blue. Read all about the concert and take a look at the photos that were taken that evening by George Nasca and Fred Robbins. We are thrilled with the response to this new series and hope you will all make it for the February 24th evening with another great Member Band, No Brakes.
We thank Too Blue once again for being there for us. Here is an almost haiku "thank you" from Michael Sassano of Too Blue:
Thanks for having 2-BL @ the 1st showcase.
We had a blast. The room is great. Was a nice 1st turn out.
Appreciate your commitment to promoting music.
Will spread the word.
Nice refreshments. Nice people.
For those of you who did not make it..,
This is a great venue for our local / regional bands & will be a wonderful opportunity to meet, hang, trade tunes, jam & yuck it up with our community.
Spread the word.. |
