| HVBA Showcase Series |
The Hudson Valley Bluegrass Association is proud to announce our new HVBA Showcase Series
The purpose of this series is to showcase our local bands. The series will take place at the Christ Episcopal Church in the Newton Community Room located at 20 Carroll Street in Poughkeepsie New York. The church has made available to us a large meeting room.
The format will be as follows:
The concerts will take place on the last Friday of each month.
The evening will start with a 45 minute open jam which will begin at 7:00 PM with the band to follow at 8:00PM.
We will be charging $10/person at the door, of which the band will receive all proceeds minus the cost of the room.
There will be refreshments.

| Harmony II & Mandolin Workshops |
Back by popular demand. Gene Yellin & Valerie Mindel will present a second Harmony Workshop on Saturday, March 10 from 1-5pm at Christ Church in Poughkeepsie. Take a look at this video and you will understand why we are repeating this well-presented workshop. For details and to reserve you spot in the small class, visit our website.
We bring you not one, but TWO workshops by Wayne Fugate. Both will be presented on Saturday, March 31. You may sign up for one or both. If you decide to spend the entire afternoon at both sessions, you will get an additional discount. The first one is "Mando Madness" and the second one is for all musicians of all levels.
